Welcome to Bergs Municipality - Municipality of the Year 2024!
Two-thirds of our population live outside our urban areas; we do not see the municipality's sparsity as a hindrance but as an opportunity! Here, you can find magnificent nature close by, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and an active cultural and community life. For those who want the city's offerings and communications, Östersund is just a stone's throw away. The South Sámi culture, reindeer husbandry, and language are an important part of the municipality's identity.
As an employer, all municipal operations rest on our five guiding principles: togetherness, courage, effectiveness, communication, and sustainability. Our guiding principles are designed to be our compass and guidance, always promoting trust and a good organizational culture with the citizen in focus.
At bergsliv.se, we have gathered inspiring reports about people living in the municipality and facts about our urban areas. Welcome to find your dream life with us in Bergs Municipality!
We accept your job application digitally via our recruitment system. If you have protected personal data, please do not submit your application through the recruitment system. Instead, contact the HR consultant via switchboard 0687-161 00, and you will receive assistance on how to apply for a job safely. We kindly ask for no contact from staffing and recruitment companies or job advertisement sellers.
Are you longing for new exciting tasks?
Do you enjoy finding solutions, meeting people, and contributing to piecing together the municipality's big puzzle in a good and resource-efficient way? Then you might be the one we are looking for as an administrator within elderly care, focusing on our home care and special housing services.
Job Responsibilities
As an administrator, you will provide qualified support to our unit managers within Care and Welfare. This support includes, for example, schedule planning, preparation for workplace meetings, and handling invoices. Staffing planning is a significant part of your work, where you are responsible for planning and assigning substitutes during short-term absences. This is done, among other things, with the help of the personnel planning tool Time Care Pool and the recruitment system Webcruiter. Other personnel administrative tasks may also be included, such as documenting recruitment processes and preparing employment contracts.
You will be part of a team of 6 administrators in the municipality, each with their own area of responsibility, working with a focus on recruitment. Together in the administrator group, we support each other in our work, exchange skills and experiences, and help each other with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has completed a high school diploma. In addition, we prefer that you have education in personnel administration from a university/college with a focus on personnel, public administration, or in another area we deem equivalent and relevant for the position. It is highly meritorious if you have previously worked with personnel administration and staffing issues, as well as if you have experience working with Time Care, Webcruiter, and Visma. Experience in schedule planning is a significant plus. You need to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Berg is a Sámi administrative municipality. Knowledge of South Sámi culture and language is therefore meritorious.
Personal Qualities
As part of our administrator team, you who are structured and meticulous will thrive best! You have an inherent ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively, both short- and long-term. We also see that you have very good communication skills and can work independently while also appreciating being part of a team. You enjoy juggling multiple tasks when required, and you can also plan effectively when the workload is lighter and the pace slows down. We place great importance on personal suitability based on these abilities.
We Offer
Working in Bergs Municipality means becoming part of an organization in constant development and progress! Our employees are our most important resource, and we value you for your unique skills and experiences.
We have a benefits portal with a wide range of offerings and the opportunity for wellness hours.
Selection and invitation to interviews will take place continuously during the advertising period, with access as soon as possible (by agreement).
The position is located in Åsarna, but travel to Rätan and Storsjö may also occur. We also have the possibility of some remote work.
Warm welcome with your application to us in elderly care in Berg, your new colleagues are waiting for you!
